Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best greetings, and would like to inform you of receiving the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers (CG / 194) dated 23/1 / 1440, which referred to the letter of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority No. (4888 / p) dated (20/1/1440) on the system of beauty products issued by the Royal Decree No. (M / 49) date (18/6/1436) where samples of eyeliner products traded in local markets were collected and analyzed to ensure their safety.
The results of the analysis showed the containment of two products of Eyeliner of a high percentage of lead exceeding the permissible limit as an impurity in Gulf Standard No. (GCO 1943), as the exposure to high percentages of these substances may cause health risks to the consumer.
The first product bears the name "Al-asmad Alhramain zamzam & rose water" and the second product is named "Al-asmad alharamain eyeliner black."
